Big Day Is Here

Dear Friends,

I’ll keep it crisp, and ask you to do three things:

1. CAUCUS!  I hope everyone goes to their caucus tonight. It’s important! And I hope you’ll support Bernie Sanders. (Check out My Endorsement for President.)

2. It’s also a good idea to present a resolution (or two) at your caucus on an issue you feel strongly about. Resolutions on fighting climate change, stopping the Bakken Pipeline and related matters can be found here: Climate Caucus Resolutions.

3. Call-in to today’s Fallon Forum at (515) 528-8122 and let me know who you’re caucusing for and why. We’re live from 11:00-12:00 noon CT on La Reina KDLF 1260 AM (Des Moines) and online.

And an optional “ask,” if you’re inclined . . . This morning (Monday) at 7:00 a.m. CT, you can catch me chatting with Amy Goodman on Democracy Now! If you miss it, I’ll post a podcast later. Feedback welcome.

Thanks! – Ed Fallon

I heard you this morning on DemocracyNow! and I would like to suggest that you let your listeners know the record of Bernie Sanders vs Hillary Clinton on the following issues, and how each affects all of us:
    1. Glass Steagall, repealed by Bill Cllinton, initiated following Great Depression to curb bank excesses. Elizabeth Warren bringing back, Clinton does not support.
    2. Invasion and occupation of Iraq.
    3. Keystone and other Pipelines: opposed by Sanders, supported by Clinton opposed by Sanders:: hydrofracking releases methane, signfiicantly greater impact on climate chaos.
    4. NAFTA, KAFTA, TTP, TTIP: so-called ‘fair trade’ brought in by Bill Clinton who loved deragulation, endorsed by HC, opposed by Bernie Sanders: allows corp. to sue countries for loss of perceived profits in secret court. much more!
    5. Wall Street and Wealthy love the Clintons. Pour money into their ‘war chests’ hoping to continue to obtain the legislative favors now in place.
    6. Highly Qualified … this statement in regard to HC has never been qualifed with facts. The truth is that HC has served in Congress, as Sec. State and First Lady. In none of these roles has she served the common good.

I can email cc of essays by credible sources to support all 6 above if you wish.

Sorry, missed this. Yes, I bring up those points all the time. Got any friends in SC or in the Super Tues states? Let’s make sure they get that info too.
