SHARI HRDINA, production director
Shari takes the raw files and makes them pretty. She’s worked with Ed since 2013 and, remarkably, hasn’t yet yelled at him or thrown anything sharp and pointed at him.

KATHY BYRNES, recording director
Ed’s wife, Kathy, captures the sound in our recording studio (which she designed), making sure the program stays within its allotted time frame. Kathy also researches and co-presents our weekly Farm and Food segment.

FORREST DETERMANN, technical director
Since Ed is somewhat of a techno-Neanderthal, it takes a geek of Forrest’s capacity to trouble shoot even the simplest of technical difficulties, which are, alas, abundant in this line of work.

CHARLES GOLDMAN, frequent guest and content researcher
Charles joins Ed on the program once each month, helping to pull together content and sometimes providing medical perspective on certain issues. Charles is also terrified of sharks — a fact that Ed rarely misses an opportunity to needle him about.
