Dear Friends,
If you value independent media, please donate to the Fallon Forum. Our platform has run continuously for the past 16 years and includes:
— A radio show that airs on eight stations in six states
— A weekly podcast
— A weekly blog and Substack post
— “Extra curricular activities,” like the recent 220-mile Save America March, and …
— Promoting candidates who embrace “prairie populism,” and …
— Working with local elected officials to promote greater food security.
So please, pitch in. It’s important. We couldn’t do this work without the support we receive from (1) local business sponsors, (2) non-profit supporters, and (3) individual monthly pledgers.

Whichever category works for you — business, non-profit, individual — your monthly pledge means a lot to our mostly-volunteer squad of Shari Hrdina, Charles Goldman, Forrest Determann, Kathy Byrnes, and me.
So, before you pour that second cup of coffee (or tea), please respond to this email and let me know you’re willing to help. And feel free to call me at (515) 238-6404 so we can go over the details.
Details? Yes. Because I’m asking you to NOT use PayPal or any similar scheme.
Why? In addition to the cut that PayPal and similar corporate “middlemen” take from your donation, Peter Thiel, PayPal’s founder, is one of the richest billionaires on Earth, a Trump supporter, and a Christo-fascist. Thiel’s now giving talks about Armageddon and the anti-Christ, suggesting it might be Greta Thunberg. Nice.
What about donating through Stripe? Sorry. Thiel and Elon Musk both have their hands in that enterprise as well.
Square? Nope. Owned by billionaire Jack Dorsey and partially financed by Black Rock.
Well, there’s Venmo, right? Nope. Also owned by PayPal.
It might sound almost primitive of me to say this, but if you want to support the Fallon Forum (and again, we need your help), use a check or cash. Better yet, set-up a recurring donation. The financial institution we’ve used for over 15 years, Community Choice Credit Union, offers a monthly-pledge service at no cost to us or the donor.
If you’d rather mail a check, that’s fine, too, of course. Make it out to Fallon Forum and mail to 735 19th Street, Des Moines, IA 50314.
Again, we’re funded entirely by donations from individuals, a handful of small businesses, and a few non-profits that value our content. Whatever you can pitch in will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Now, on to this week’s program:
