Regina Tsosie letter of support

To Whom It May Concern:

It is with a huge measure of support that I am writing this letter on behalf of my friend in activism, Ed Fallon.

My name is Regina Tsosie, co-founder of Sage Sisters of Solidarity, and an Indigenous woman/mother/activist who supports healthy environment/climate/water, Indigenous rights/justice, protection of sacred sites, and the MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women) movement.

I have known Ed since early spring 2017 when he and Bold Iowa offered their assistance in Sage Sisters’ support to the Standing Rock Sioux Nation’s strong resistance to the Dakota Access pipeline. Since that time, Ed and Bold Iowa have grown to become great allies in the work that Sage Sisters and other Indigenous groups are accomplishing.

Sage Sisters has had opportunities to partner with Ed and Bold Iowa in the 2017 Climate Justice Unity March, the 2017 NoDAPL Rally (partnering with Indigenous Iowa), the 2018 First Nations-Farmers Unity Justice Walk, and the 2020 Climate Crisis Parade. Ed and Bold Iowa have, also, supported Sage Sisters’ MMIW Rally in 2018.

In all my interactions with Ed, I have found him to be supportive, positive, respectful, genuine, energetic, kind, gracious, …. a great human being and organizer! I am grateful and honored to acknowledge him as a friend and ally, working in solidarity toward the good of the cause!

Furthermore, I certify under penalty of perjury and pursuant to the laws of the state of Iowa that the preceding is true and correct.

Respectfully and In a Good Way,

Regina Tsosie
