Dear Friends,
I rarely ask for donations to support our work, so I hope you’ll pitch in today. Between The Fallon Forum and Bold Iowa, we get a bigger bang for the buck than most other organizations, especially national non-profits with a top-down corporate structure who pay their head honchos ridiculous salaries.
Both the Forum and Bold are almost entirely volunteer-driven. Yet we have expenses, of course, and could sure use your help at this time.
The Fallon Forum is unique in the US — a progressive call-in talk show in its thirteenth year of continuous broadcast. The program airs on six radio stations and is available as a podcast. It’s also live-streamed on Facebook each week.
Bold Iowa was established in 2015 to fight the Dakota Access Pipeline. Our mission is to build rural-urban coalitions to address climate change and prevent the abuse of eminent domain to build pipelines. We’re also working with communities across Iowa to relocalize food production before the worst impacts of climate change further disrupt food supply chains.
Thank you! Our team greatly appreciates your generosity and support.

CHECK OUT THIS WEEK’S FALLON FORUM. Dr. Charles Goldman and I kick it off at the 2:00-minute mark as I accept Donald Trump’s challenge to debate the 2020 election results. (Here’s the press release.) Trump is all bluster and no bite, of course. Yet by ignoring his challenge, Democrats squander a huge opportunity to push back against Trump’s lies about the election.
At the 6:00-minute mark, Charles and I discuss the growing tension between the US and Russia over Ukraine. Some observers warn that a misstep by the Biden administration could cause that hot spot to escalate into a much bigger conflagration.
At the 19:00-minute mark, Charles, callers, and I discuss abortion — and the very real threat to Roe v Wade.
Finally, at the 52:45-minute mark, Kathy Byrnes and I discuss a recent story in The Guardian:
Abuse, intimidation, death threats: the vicious backlash facing former vegans.
