Efforts to stop the Bakken Pipeline continue, as landowners, farmers, tribes, environmentalists and climate activists join forces to make the case that our water, land, property rights and planet can’t bear the inevitable fallouts of an oil pipeline.
In March and April of 2015, Ed Fallon walked 400 miles following the path of the proposed Bakken Oil Pipeline. He walked from the southeast corner of Iowa to the northwest corner, meeting with landowners and others to talk about the importance of respecting farmland and the imperative to stop the expansion of fossil-fuel infrastructure projects. Read daily accounts of his Walk elsewhere on the Fallon Forum website. You can also keep track of continued efforts to stop the Bakken Pipeline on Ed’s Facebook page and through regular email updates.
Efforts to stop the Pipeline continue. Read about them on this website, or “like” the Bold Iowa Facebook Page.
